BUILDER OFFERS “REAL DEAL” FOR HOME BUYERS

A CUSTOMIZED HOME WITHOUT THE CUSTOM PRICES

When it comes to building a home, everyone wants a custom home with almost everything designed and built to their specifications. But almost no one wants to pay the custom home price. Can you blame them? A custom home is very expensive, and while quality matters to most people, you can’t buy what you can’t pay for.

So, people end up in something much less, purchase something from a builder that’s cookie cutter, or even compromise on a “used house” with the hope and prayer of remodeling “someday.” And truth be told, they usually aren’t that happy with the settled on home. What they really wanted is custom but settled on something much less.

But for over 20 years, Albuquerque-based Stillbrooke Homes, has developed and refined a way to create a customized home without the custom prices. While it’s true that you can’t get everything you want in a custom home, you do get a remarkable ability to create the home you really want by customizing it. And you don’t pay custom home prices. For almost everyone out there, this is a great deal.

The buyer starts with over 100 floorplans, and that’s just the beginning because the builder then allows the owner to change the floorplans to fit their needs.

There are basically hundreds of different possibilities, and definitely something for most home buyers.

“People want choices and we give them that,” said Scott Henry, Stillbrooke Homes CEO. “Many builders will allow you a few choices, like plug-and-play rooms or color options, such as picking flooring and make you feel you’re getting a custom experience.

At Stillbrooke Homes, for a much more reasonable fee, with one stop, you make real, substantive changes, such as moving walls, changing the layout, maximizing lot use, plus picking out countertops and stonework, choosing flooring, and much more in the dedicated showroom “Colors of Home” décor center.

“We allow homebuyers to really customize a new home, without the huge expense of full custom such as hiring an architect, then choosing a general contractor or builder with limited advice and guidance, then both surprising buyers with bills along the way for items you weren’t expecting that are just part of homebuilding,” said Henry. “This is the real deal. We have something very few can offer. And are one of the original, on your lot or ours, builders since 1997.”

And to make matters even more appealing to the home buyers, Stillbrooke Homes has four new developments in the Northeast Heights, most with the customized home options available. Start your search with Luna Vita, a quaint 10-home community on Wilshire and Louisiana. At Luna Vita, homeowners can use the customization process to build a home on a quiet cul-de- sac, with your own personal floor plan, your choice of flooring, and interiors to match, as well as the kitchen your way.

Stillbrooke Homes has nearly completed and sold almost all the lots in Phase I of the Estates at Santa Monica and is now starting Phase ll.  Homes here with customization start in the $390s, located at Santa Monica and Louisiana.  Buyers can build a customized one or two-story home, in an area in which convenience is the key feature.

Horizon Village near Balloon Fiesta Park is a townhome community, featuring a village green, quaint commercial area, and possibly even a boutique hotel. And just because it’s a townhome doesn’t mean you don’t get the customized building method, you do! Designs are 1,700 to 2,000 square feet, with additional 2-car garage. Prices start in the low $300’s.

And lastly, there is the long-anticipated Sevano, a 41-home gated community, at the corner of Alameda and Louisiana. Sevano has new floor plans to choose from, with the ability to alter those floor plans to get it the way you want it. Both one and two-story homes with customized building starting in the $400’s.

“I encourage anyone who does not want to compromise with limited options and just choosing colors, to visit our model homes and speak to our sales representatives about how to get the home you want, without the custom home circus or prices,” said Henry.
